USING OUR TIME, TALENT & TREASURE FOR ST. PAUL CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Parent Volunteer Opportunities
Our parents are the most wonderful volunteers. It is because of their selfless service to the school that we are able to offer great activities and events for our students and families to share together. We are very appreciative of the time, talent, and treasure that they so generously give to St. Paul Catholic School.

Volunteer Requirements & Guidelines
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your incredible dedication and support as volunteers at St. Paul Catholic School. Your willingness to lend a hand is invaluable, and it significantly enhances our ability to provide a rich array of activities and experiences for our students. Your presence not only assists our faculty and staff but also strengthens our school community. We are deeply grateful for your commitment and enthusiasm!
To become a school volunteer there are strict requirements that must be completed before you may begin. Please email Jeanne Blake at bl****@************ic.net for volunteer instructions.
Background checks/fingerprinting has a new system to process through. You must make an appointment with St. Paul Catholic School to start your background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse and must be resubmitted every 5 years. Safe Environment courses are to be completed every 5 years with the exception for Athletic Coaches taking “Blood Borne Pathogens” every year and CYSL courses every year with NFHSLearn. If you need to check on your status as a current volunteer please email Jeanne Blake for instructions on how to log into Virtusonline.org to check your volunteer information or retake any courses due. Payment for your background check can be made by either writing a check made out to St. Paul Catholic School, or make payment through your FACTS account.
Click here for the Background Screening Clearinghouse Education and Awareness website.
If you have volunteered elsewhere within our Diocese please let us know and you can be added to our school within the Virtus program.
If you will be driving on behalf of St. Paul Catholic School for field trips you will need to complete an MVR(Motor Vehicle Report) and be approved. The MVR’s must be completed every year. Please turn in the form along with a copy of your driver’s license and copy of your car insurance declaration page showing you have the required amounts of liability on the vehicle you will be driving. You can turn these into the front office. The MVR is to be completed every school year.
Interested volunteers and volunteer athletic coaches, please click on one of the links below. We greatly appreciate our volunteers and your commitment to completing the necessary steps for compliance by following the instructions in the documents provided.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
The purpose of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to promote and encourage communication between parents, teachers, administration, and the community. The PTO also sponsors and organizes fundraising and school events which deepen our community spirit and enrich our children’s educational, social, and developmental experiences at St. Paul Catholic School. All parents of St. Paul Catholic School students are members of the PTO with membership dues incorporated in the yearly tuition.
School Advisory Council
The purpose of the School Advisory Council (SAC) is to advise the Pastor of St. Paul Parish and the Principal of St. Paul Catholic School in the organization and operation of the School. The SAC does not exercise any actual authority with respect to the administration of the School but rather acts solely in an advisory capacity. This is to ensure that the interests and concerns of the school families are effectively considered in support of the delivery of a strong Catholic education to St. Paul Catholic School students. Standing committees of the SAC are discussed below. Please refer to our Handbook for more information on the SAC.
Finance Council
The Finance Council is a standing committee of the School Advisory Council and is responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the annual school budget and drafting a long-term financial plan for the school.
Development Council
The Development Council is a standing committee of the School Advisory Council and is responsible for public relations, alumni relations, and funding. Members of the Council include the pastor, principal, and a School Advisory Council representative, as well as appointed student parents, school staff, and/or other volunteers who support the efforts of the Council. The St. Paul Catholic School Development Council strives to promote the present and future goals, programs, facilities and financial stability of the School, a Catholic centered education of intellectual, spiritual and physical growth and to develop support for the educational ministry of our school. This also includes development, school planning, fundraising, and alumni relations.
